In his pre-match press conference, Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel stated that he understands that striker Mauro Icardi isn’t in his best form, but said that they must remain calm.
Well, it looks as though the patience in Icardi has paid off as the Argentina international scored his first goal since February in the first half against Stade de Reims.
A striker needs to see one goal into the back of the net before the floodgates open for him. We will see if this is the start of a goal streak for Icardi.
