Video: Kylian Mbappé on Returning To the Starting Eleven in PSG’s Win Over Nice

In Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-0 win over OGC Nice, it marked the return of Kylian Mbappé, who was out due to contracting the coronavirus. The 21-year-old scored his first goal of the Ligue 1 season from a penalty kick and, along with Ángel Di María, helped carried the capital club to their second straight win.

After the match, Mbappé spoke with Canal Plus to discuss the win and how he’s felt returning to the Parisian squad after having to sit out the first three matches of the season.

“I was happy to put on the jersey again. Here when you miss a week, you miss 10 matches. I was in front of my TV and just wanted to come back to help the team so I was happy. After in the second half, there were some losses of the ball, but the most important thing is the victory and the team,” Mbappé said. We still had a complicated period, it was not easy lately. To regain a victory with the manner, it feels good.”
