Video: French Football Pundit’s Criticism of Playing Ruiz-Atil and Kalimuendo

In their 1-0 loss to RC Lens, Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel had to feature two youth products due to seven players being out of the squad since that group contracted the coronavirus.

As a result, Kays Ruiz-Atil and Arnaud Kalimuendo got the start as Les Parisiens kicked off their 2020-21 Ligue 1 season. Although many want to see these youth players, RMC Sport’s Daniel Riolo isn’t one of them, and he made it clear on his appearance on After Foot RMC.

“The truth is, the guys played nine. The two kids can’t play there, they’re not level. There is a real problem, ” Daniel Riolo said. “The other one with his oversized ball, to believe himself mega technique. When he makes his sole there. I am in the eleven, I said to him: “Kid, you do not do that again, give the ball quickly. You stop right away, you are 18 years old, you weigh 10 kilos, stop with your soles. Don’t tell yourself. ”

“Kalimuendo made me feel a lot more humble than he tried to bring. Afterwards, I’m not sure he’s more talented than all the others who came out like Augustin… Then you can’t hit them, they’re kids. But PSG played nine. They don’t have the shoulders for a match like this. Ruiz, at PSG, we spent everything during his training, he was overprotected. He was allowed to have a swollen head. Now it has to deflate to reach the high level. He’s still a long way off.”
