With only a few days left until the transfer window closes, plenty of Paris Saint-Germain supporters have an anxious feeling about whether or not the capital club will address the weaknesses that remain on the squad.
On the set of Canal Football Club, French football pundit Pierre Ménès is asking whether or not Les Parisiens are looking to recruit players to improve the team this summer window.
Furthermore, Ménès stated that PSG could wait until the winter to make any moves, which isn’t something the fanbase wants to hear, and more often than not, the impactful transfers don’t typically happen during that window.
“I’m wondering if Paris really wants to recruit during this transfer window,” Ménès said. “Doesn’t Paris say to itself: ‘With the workforce, we have there, we will leave the Champions League groups quietly, we will find ourselves at the top of Ligue 1 at the end of the first leg, like usually, and then we will have gained a little time compared to the COVID because we do not know what it will give ‘and they will recruit only in the winter transfer window in January.”
More than likely, PSG could have to wait a year until a significant transfer occurs to improve the squad.
