When making an appearance on Top of the Foot, RMC Sport football analyst Éric Di Meco discussed his issue with Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel.
Di Meco stated that he isn’t a fan of the way the German manager communicates. He adds that the Tuchel comes off as though he’s lost control of the squad, which worries the analyst.
“What is currently happening at PSG is due to several things and in particular, to the mismanagement of the post-Champions League final. With the recent results, the injuries, the suspended ones, plus the match we saw last night,” Di Meco said.
“They dig, they dig, they dig. But where will they stop? Yes, there is a slight clearing up with this Julian Draxler goal, but the evil runs deeper. And when you hear Thomas Tuchel lately, every time he speaks, he says enormities. I really have the impression that he has lost control. It’s scary. He is sailing by sight, he says anything. And that the locker room hears. I am extremely worried.”
Many supporters are having internal debates as to whether or not Tuchel is the right manager after the slow start to the Ligue 1 season. We will see if the 47-year-old will withstand the storm or be out of a job.
🗣 "Ces derniers temps, à chaque fois que Tuchel parle, il dit une énormité. Ça fait peur…"
