On his Pierrot Face Cam, Canal Plus analyst Pierre Ménès provided his thoughts on the Canal Football Club appearance of Paris Saint-Germain sporting director, Leonardo.
The 51-year-old discussed a plethora of topics with the crew. One included the transfer market, and it’s no secret that Leonardo isn’t moving at the pace that some supporters would like, but he did address the matter.
Ménès responds to what Leonardo said over the transfer window as they try and replace Thiago Silva, Edinson Cavani, and Thomas Meunier.
“You have to remember that last year, Leonardo in Metz, one of the first matches of the season, he said, “you shouldn’t expect a bling-bling season.” Result quadrupled, and final of the Champions League. So there, PSG has weakened with the departures of Meunier, Thiago Silva, and Edinson Cavani who have not been replaced lists Ménès in his pellet. He will still be able to compensate perhaps not for all these departures because he also said that the workforce was too large last year,” Ménès said.
“He is that it would take a great midfield and a striker and more even if it seems that Choupo-Moting will stay. How did I find Leonardo yesterday? I found him in his role. People say “he defends PSG”. Well yes indeed, he defends PSG. It’s kind of his role, he’s there for that. He obviously doesn’t say much that we didn’t know. But the most important part is about Tuchel because obviously there were quite a few rumors about relationship issues between the two and it seems to me that he was pretty clear.”
" As-tu trouvé Leonardo aussi ambitieux que les années passées pour le PSG ? " 🤔
" Avec le faux-départ de Messi au FCB, l'exil de Griezmann devient-il inévitable ? " 🛫
