In all the madness that went on during Le Classique, something way before the match took place went under the radar when former Paris Saint midfielder, Hatem Ben Arfa, appeared on Téléfoot, where he made a wild declaration.
According to the Real Valladolid player, Ligue 1 is a better than La Liga. The 33-year-old has plenty of experience playing in France and has only five matches playing for Blanquivioletas, which is a small sample size to judge a league.
“I can say that Ligue 1 is better. In Spain, the big clubs like Real Madrid & Barcelona hide the forest a bit. Overall, I am convinced that Ligue 1 is stronger than La Liga.”
