Alessandro Florenzi is the newest member of the Paris Saint-Germain squad and made his debut for the capital club in Le Classique against Olympique de Marseille.
The hazing ritual in football for an incoming player is to sing a particular song in front of their teammates. For the 29-year-old right-back, he chose to sing a song from his native Italy, “Volare Cantare Oh Oh.”
Florenzi’s fellow countryman, Marco Verratti, recorded his performance on Instagram, where it seemed as though his teammates enjoyed the singing.
