In an unexpected fashion, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler emerged as an unsung hero for the club in its must-win contest against Metz.
Following an excellent aerial ball from Angel Di Maria into the box, Metz goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja was able to clear away the ball and prevent Mauro Icardi from scoring an effortless tap-in goal. However, Draxler was at the right place and at the right time as he subsequently headed in the loose ball for an open net goal.
