Video: Despite PSG’s Poor Form, Nice Manager Won’t Take Them Lightly

When Paris Saint-Germain heads to the south of France to take on OGC Nice, they will do so with Neymar Jr., who will continue serving his suspension. However, they have Kylian Mbappé, but there’s no decision whether he will see minutes as a start or come off the bench since he’s coming off a coronavirus infection.

Despite the capital club being without one of their superstars and not playing at a high-level, in his press conference, Nice manager Patrick Vieira will not take PSG lightly, considering the squad is still talented.

“Is it the right time to play for PSG? I do not know. They may have been playing a little less well over the past few weeks, but there are still some really great players. We have this desire to play this match,” Vieira said.

“Neymar and Mbappé absent? We must not forget that there are players like Di Maria, Draxler or Verratti. Mbappé, we do not know if he will be present. If it is finally there, we will logically be more vigilant. We have to defend very well.”
