The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is right around the corner, and many countries will begin their qualifying matches for the tournament. CONMEBOL, which is the confederation which represents the countries in South America, starts their qualifiers next month.

As a result, countries will be naming their squads for these sets of matches on October 8th and 13th.

Brazil’s national football team manager, Tite, announced his squad for these two matches taking place next month. Two Paris Saint-Germain players received a call-up, Neymar Jr. and Marquinhos.

For Neymar, these next two years are critical for his international career. After watching his national team teammates celebrated a Copa America on home soil last year, the 28-year-old will get a crack at that tournament next year.

However, the World Cup is what’s most important. Neymar will be 30-years-old and will be his last opportunity to play while in his prime as he hopes to secure Brazil’s first World Cup since 2002.

Meanwhile, with the Argentina national team, Leandro Paredes is getting a call-up. The 26-year-old will want to continue his relatively good form to play in the Copa America next year and the World Cup in 2022.
