Entering the 2020-21 football season, Kylian Mbappé only has one more year left on his contract. So if the Real Madrid rumors weren’t already annoying for Paris Saint-Supporters, they’re going to be in overdrive this year.
A few days ago, The Sunday Times reported that the 21-year-old is ready to exit the capital club. Now, of course, the Spanish media outlets couldn’t be left without adding their spin to the story.
Diario AS put out an article where they listed the five reasons for Mbappé to join Los Blancos:
- The admiration for manager Zinedine Zidane.
- Champions League objective
- Winning the Ballon d’Or
- Playing at the remodeled Santiago Bernabéu
- Feeling like home playing alongside other French internationals
The list screams arrogance. Let’s not hide it. However, despite a national media outlet in Spain tooting the horn of Real Madrid and running with an article from England on a French, AS needs to hold off on the welcoming party.
Sky Sport is reporting that although talks are difficult, Mbappé isn’t ruling out an extension.
