Report: Roma Sets Buy Option Fee at €9M for Alessandro Florenzi

Paris Saint-Germain and AS Roma have recently been finalizing the last details on the loan deal involving right-back Alessandro Florenzi. The two sides already reached a season-long loan agreement for the talent and now Roma has set the price for a potential buy option.

Roma and PSG have agreed to terms on a €9 million purchase option fee for Florenzi, according to a report from Sky Sport‘s Gianluca Di Marzio. PSG will have the option to trigger this purchase option following the upcoming season. Florenzi will have two more years left on his contract after this season, so Les Parisiens would have to pay the buy option fee and rest of his wages if the club wishes to make the loan agreement a permanent deal.

The move is set to be made official soon. Florenzi is slated to arrive at PSG with an announcement possibly coming right after.

It remains to be seen on whether Florenzi may be available for the club’s upcoming two fixtures over the next five days if the deal is finalized by Saturday.
