Unlike with previous transfer moves involving prospects, PSG will receive a relatively small fee for Louakima’s move to Roma. PSG is set to take in a mere €200,000 from the right-back’s transfer deal, according to a report from L’Equipe. While it is a relatively low transfer fee, the report mentions that PSG will receive a percentage from a future resale if Roma elects to offload him down the road along with a bonus if he later receives playing time with the first-team.
In short, PSG is banking on the hope that Louakima will exceed expectations with Roma, which could garner the club a larger return than just the agreed €200,000 fee.
For now, Louakima is expected to feature with Roma’s U19 side.
