One of the areas that Paris Saint-Germain will want to improve this summer transfer window is at right-back. A name that the capital club has reportedly circled is Atalanta BC’s Timothy Castagne.
However, it appears as though the Belgium international might be heading elsewhere unless Les Parisiens come in with a last-minute offer. It looks like Castagne will be heading to Leicester City FC, according to Italian sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Premier League club is reportedly offering €25 million for the 24-year-old, and the deal is one step away from being completed. With Castagne likely joining The Foxes, PSG will have to look at other targets to improve their right-back position.
With the addition of Castagne to Leicester City it might open up the possibility of the English club selling Ricardo Pereira. The 26-year-old has discussed the possibility of becoming the new Brazil international to join PSG. Also, Pereira is a target that most supporters of Les Parisiens want to see come to Paris.
