Report: PSG Prospect Corentin Louakima Set to Leave the Club for AS Roma

Paris Saint-Germain is set to lose yet another prospect as Corentin Louakima will be leaving the club and heading to AS Roma, according to a report from RMC Sport.

Louakima will be released by PSG and then move to Roma’s youth system. The 17-year-old prospect will sign a three-year contract with Roma where the talent will then be eligible down the road to feature with the first-team. Both PSG and Louakima have already agreed to the early release from his contract and his move to the Serie A side should be officially announced soon.

The right-back prospect has featured with both PSG’s U17 side and France’s U16 team as of late. The prospect will now be joining a Roma youth system in which playing time with the first team is not a guarantee but is more likely than if he would have stayed with PSG.

Louakima is just another notable prospect to leave PSG’s youth system. For instance, the club had already lost PSG U17 talent Martin Adeline to Stade Reims earlier this year. Still, PSG is surely committed to making the most of its talents already in its youth system.
