Paris Saint-Germain has declined the opportunity to sign Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, according to a report from the English-based outlet The Telegraph.
Arsenal is seeking a buyer for Guendouzi, as it is looking to part ways with the midfielder.
The Telegraph noted that Arsenal recently engaged in talks with PSG over a possible transfer deal involving the French talent. But the Ligue 1 side has decided not to pursue such a deal and will instead shift its focus toward Hector Bellerin.
PSG had recently considered signing Guendouzi to add to its already potent midfield unit. According to an August report from Football London, PSG was monitoring the situation between Guendouzi and Arsenal.
For now, PSG club officials will continue to scour the transfer market for midfield depth.
