Paris Saint-Germain could add some depth to the forward position, especially considering that anyone upfront can contract the coronavirus. Nonetheless, having more options to help put the ball in the back of the net is never bad.
According to Téléfoot, the capital club is looking at former AS Roma winger Stephan El Shaarawy. The 27-year-old left the Italian capital for Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC. China used to be where a player could go and get an inflated payday, but it appears as though those days are over.

With the Chinese Football Association putting a cap on how much foreigners can make, more players are beginning to head back to Europe. There are ways for clubs to get around this rule, but it all depends on whether a player is worth trying to bend the rules.
Someone like El Shaarawy might not be worth it for a Chinese club to keep playing such a large salary, and so the Italy international could be looking to head back to Europe.
Along with PSG, Atlético Madrid, Juventus FC and Roma are monitoring El Shaarawy’s situation.
