Report: PSG Face New Competition for Arsenal Right-Back

With the sale of Kai Havertz to Chelsea FC, Bayer 04 Leverkusen has money to spend to reinforce their squad. They’ll use this influx of cash to target Héctor Bellerín of Arsenal FC, according to The Telegraph.

Paris Saint-Germain is targeting the 25-year-old right-back as they look to find a replacement for Thomas Meunier. The capital club has reportedly made a £25 million offer per The Guardian, but it seems as though the English club wants a bit more for Bellerín

Considering that the capital club and Leverkusen are both in on the player, The Gunners would like to squeeze out €40 million from all parties involved. With Arsenal doing some spending of their own already, they’d like to cover the cost of any purchases with the sale of Bellerín.

Les Parisiens face competition for Bellerín, but Leverkusen is also reportedly in on Tottenham Hotspur right-back and former PSG player Serge Aurier. It will be interesting to see if the German club will pay a high price if the Ligue 1 champions choose to meet Arsenal’s demands.
