Report: Mbe Soh Heading to EFL Club as He Becomes Latest Youth Product to Depart

Loïc Mbe Soh will become the third Paris Saint-Germain youth product to depart from the capital club, joining Tanguy Nianzou and Adil Aouchiche. They both left for greener pastures as they begin their professional careers.

Mbe Soh won’t be going to a top club in Europe like Nianzou did when he left for FC Bayern Munich. Nor will he go to a first division squad to receive first-team minutes like Aouchiche. Instead, the 19-year-old defender will head to EFL Championship and join Nottingham Forest FC, according to RMC Sport

There’s no official transfer fee yet announced nor the percentage Les Parisiens would receive in a resale of Mbe Soh. Nonetheless, suppose PSG sporting director Leonardo can negotiate a high percentage on a potential resale and a somewhat decent fee.

In that case, it’s a wise business move for a player refusing to sign a contract extension and looking for playing time elsewhere.
