Manchester City prospect Jamie Bynoe-Gittens received interest from several top clubs but has now reportedly decided on his next team. Bynoe-Gittens will turn away interest from Paris Saint-Germain to join Borussia Dortmund, according to a report from Germany’s Sky Sport.
As the report mentioned, Bynoe-Gittens had received interest from other teams for his signature. PSG and Real Madrid both showed ambition in signing the talent, but he is set on signing with Dortmund’s highly acclaimed youth system instead. The 16-year-old has not signed a professional contract just yet, so the talent will depart on a free transfer.
This signing would have been a significant one for PSG had he picked Les Parisiens for his next team. He has shown promise in his play as a winger for Manchester City’s U18 side and England’s U15 international team. And after a summer in which the club lost several promising prospects, this signing would have been a quality move to help change the narrative regarding its youth system.
PSG will just move forward and continue to develop prospects within its own youth academy.
