Report: Lucas Hernandez Is Interested in Heading To PSG

When Kylian Mbappé was with the French National Team, the 21-year-old praised the Paris Saint-Germain project to two players, Eduardo Camavinga and Lucas Hernandez. Well, it seems as though the PSG might have intrigued one of his national team teammates.

According to Cadena Ser (via Canal Supporters), Hernandez doesn’t like the situation he currently finds himself with FC Bayern Munich. The 24-year-old isn’t guaranteed minutes as a starter and wants to go somewhere he’s playing consistently, so he’s pondering how to head to Paris.

Transfermarkt places Hernandez value at €45-milion, but Bayern Munich did pay €80-million for the France international last summer when they purchased him from Atlético Madrid. As a result, the German club will want to recoup some of that fee, so there’s no way they’ll want to sell Hernandez for half the price.

Furthermore, the coronavirus pandemic has affected the transfer market regarding what they’re willing to pay unless you’re Chelsea FC. Unless club sporting director Leonardo can put together a loan with an option or obligation to pay, it will be tough for a deal to get down.
