Report: La Liga Club Ponders Whether or Not To Sign PSG’s All-Time Leading Goal Scorer

Since June, Edinson Cavani has remained with no contract after declining to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain to participate in the resumption of the UEFA Champions League last month.

Despite moving on from the capital club, plenty of clubs like SL Benfica, Juventus FC, AS Romas, and Atlético Madrid have shown an interest in the 33-year-old striker; however, no deal has materialized.

Nonetheless, there’s another big club in Europe that might consider PSG’s all-time leading goal scorer.

According to Marca, Real Madrid CF is pondering whether to pounce and sign the Uruguay international, whos is offering his services since it wouldn’t cost them a fee as Cavani will come to the Spanish club on a free transfer

However, El Matador will have a large salary as the Spanish media outlet reports that he will command a salary of €7-million per year, which shouldn’t be too much for Los Blancos to pay up.

Cavani remains in Uruguay training at home while a potential deal with Real Madrid or any club for that matter is completed.
