Report: Jese Wants to Leave PSG Over the Current Transfer Window

Jese Rodriguez’s time at Paris Saint-Germain may soon come to an end.

Jese is interested in leaving PSG over the current transfer window, according to a report from the Spanish-based outlet Cuatro Deportes.

Jese is not in PSG manager Thomas Tuchel’s plans for this season. Thus, Jese is aiming to leave the club before the ongoing transfer window closes next week. He has just one season left on his current deal at PSG.

PSG would like to find a suitor for Jese, but if it can not do so, then the two sides would be interested in coming to terms on a buyout agreement, which would then make the Spanish forward a free agent.

If Jese becomes a free agent, he would have multiple clubs interested in signing him. The report singles out La Liga side Real Valladolid as one potential suitor, as the club would have more of an interest in signing him as a free agent than via a permanent transfer deal.

Jese has made just 17 total appearances in all competitions for PSG. His transfer deal is well regarded as one of the biggest busts in recent Ligue 1 history.
