Report: Forward Kalimuendo Could Be Open to Leaving PSG

Arnaud Kalimuendo has been one of Paris Saint-Germain’s top rising prospects as of late. Kalimuendo is becoming a coveted talent, and he could be open to leaving the team soon pending on how the club handles his minutes with the first-team, according to a report from Le Parisien.

The report mentions that Kalimuendo would like to feature more with the first-team this season. The French talent has played for PSG’s U19 side as of late. Kalimuendo’s plans for his future at PSG will depend on whether the club aspires to meet his needs regarding playing time.

The Le Parisien report also alludes that Kalimuendo currently has a market value of several million euros, which could be much-needed for a club that has been financially impacted by the recent coronavirus shutdown. Kalimuendo currently has two more years left on his contract, and this could be key for PSG if it wishes to offload him.

For the moment, Kalimuendo is in line to feature in multiple games over the upcoming weeks. The club currently has seven players out of action due to positive coronavirus tests. This all already provided Kailmuendo with a key opportunity as he played in 74 minutes of the 1-0 away league loss to RC Lens.

Kalimuendo could be slated to play in PSG’s upcoming league fixture against Olympique de Marseille.
