Alessandro Florenzi recently completed his loan move to Paris Saint-Germain from AS Roma and he could be in line to already make his official debut for the club in its upcoming fixture against Olympique de Marseille, according to a report from RMC Sport.
PSG registered Florenzi to the team when it officially announced the loan agreement deal on Friday He is now eligible to be selected for the official squad list by manager Thomas Tuchel for the fixture against Marseille. It is unclear whether Tuchel is considering picking the right-back for the squad even as the club currently faces depth issues due to the recent coronavirus outbreak within the team.
Florenzi could face rust and fitness issues considering that he has only played in three fixtures over the past 60 days. He last featured in a competitive fixture over the recent international break. He started and played in all 90 minutes of Italy’s 1-1 draw against Bosnia & Herzegovina in UEFA Nations League group stage play.
If Tuchel elects to sit out Florenzi for the upcoming fixture against Marseille, Layvin Kurzawa could be in line for another start out at the right-back position.
