Report: Caen in Contacts With PSG Over a Loan Deal for Youth Product

The closing date of the transfer window is fast approaching with departures and arrivals coming into the Paris Saint-Germain squad.

One of the recent additions to Les Parisiens is the return of their former youth product, Alexandre Letellier, who will be the third goalkeeper on the depth chart for the 2020-21 season.

This arrival will likely signify the departures of PSG’s young goalkeepers Marcin Bulka and Garissone Innocent, since both players want more playing time. When it comes to Innocent, the 20-year-old could find playing time with a Ligue 2 side, but it seems as though there’s a club in the first division looking at the PSG youth product for a loan deal.

According to RMC Sport’s Loïc Tanzi, Stade Malherbe de Caen is looking for a goalkeeper and is waiting to get a loan with an option to purchase for Innocent. The journalist confirmed that talks are taking place between the different parties.

However, “there is no agreement at the moment.” He also added that Caen isn’t the only club interested in Innocent as Dijon FCO has contacted the 20-year-old goalkeeper of the capital club. Nonetheless, Tanzi indicated that negotiations between Dijon and Innocent had hit a wall.
