Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is responding to the recent rumors regarding his potential departure from the club.
On his official Instagram account, Brozovic reaffirmed his commitment to stay with Inter. In a lengthy post to Inter fans, the Croatian talent wrote “Dear Nerazzurri people, for the great respect I have for this shirt, I have never responded to all the things that have been written to me in recent weeks and I will not do so now. I can only say that I have always given all of myself for this shirt and for this city where I really feel at home. I think I also gave some emotions, like when we shared the joys in the derby. I love this jersey, I love Milan and I can’t wait to fight for a long time more in Nerazzurri. Forza Inter.”
Multiple clubs have reportedly shown interest in a possible Brozovic transfer deal, including Paris Saint-Germain. According to a recent report from Le10Sport, Brozovic’s agent has been in recent contact with Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, over a possible transfer move. But it seems as if those talks did not help PSG gain leverage into a possible transfer move for the talent considering his ambition to stay with Inter.
Thus, PSG will have to look elsewhere for a workhorse midfield talent. The club is not in dire need of such a player but likely simply needs one to shore up depth issues at the position.
