Official Lineup: Sarabia in Starting 11 for PSG Against Lens in Ligue 1 Opener

For the first time since February, Paris Saint-Germain will take part in a Ligue 1 fixture. PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has selected this starting 11 for the contest and as expected with the recent coronavirus outbreak within the team, there are plenty of changes across the board.

Tuchel has elected to go with a 4-3-3 setup for PSG’s fixture against Lens. PSG will be without Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Mauro Icardi, and Angel Di Maria for this fixture due to their positive coronavirus tests. As a result, Tuchel has picked prospect Arnaud Kalimuendo Muniga to be the team’s starting center forward in this contest. The forward will be joined by Kays Ruiz-Atil and Pablo Sarabia as his wide players.

In the midfield, PSG supporters sure will be pleased to see Marco Verratti back starting for the team.

There are no major surprises with Tuchel’s picks for his backline. With Thiago Silva no longer with the team, Tuchel has apparently picked Layvin Kurzawa to pair up with Presnel Kimpembe to form the team’s starting center-back duo.

With both Keylor Navas and Sergio Rico unavailable for this contest, Marcin Bulka will start out at the goalkeeper position against Lens.

PSG sure needs a win in this match, especially as the club will begin a daunting four fixtures in 10 days run.
