Official Lineup: Marquinhos Makes his Return to PSG’s Starting 11 for Fixture Against Metz

With five players unavailable for Paris Saint-Germain’s league contest against Metz, manager Thomas Tuchel has had to once again be creative with his starting 11. The good news for Tuchel is that he got back multiple players in time for the contest.

Tuchel is rolling out a 4-3-3 setup for the third straight league contest. At goalkeeper, Keylor Navas is making his first appearance for the club this season after being out of action due to a positive coronavirus test.

The defensive backline is once again shaken up as Colin Dagba is getting the start out at the right-back position. Alessandro Florenzi is not eligible to play against Metz due to a registration issue, and Thilo Kehrer is currently dealing with a slight injury. Marquinhos is back in action as well and will start for the club out at the center-defender position.

There are no major surprises in both the midfield and attack. Ander Herrera is getting a third straight league start as a central midfielder since both Leandro Paredes and Marco Verratti are out for the contest. In the attack, Mauro Icardi is back for PSG following his self-isolation period from a positive coronavirus test. Wingers Angel Di Maria and Pablo Sarabia will accompany him upfront.

This surely is a must-win game for PSG.
