Paris Saint-Germain is under a coronavirus outbreak with seven players contracting the virus. Well, one of the first to contract the virus was the club’s sporting director, Leonardo.
In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, the 51-year-old’s wife, Anna Billò, opened up to the Italian news media outlet about not only her husband’s battle with the coronavirus but their entire family since they all contracted the virus.
Billò stated that their youngest in their family, Thomas, was the first to get sick right after France went into confinement. She added that he suffered from a high fever, headaches, and throat covered in red patches. It was a rough three days for their son Billò adds.
Ten days later, Leonardo and his wife contracted the coronavirus. At first, the two lost their sense of taste and smell, followed by fever and respiratory problems. Twenty-five days into contracting the virus, both were still testing positive. It wasn’t until a month and a half later that they finally tested negative.
