Plenty of Paris Saint-Germain supporters are becoming restless due to the capital club’s non-existing presence in the transfer market.
However, Les Parisien sporting director, Leonardo, did mention on his Canal Football Club appearance that he will need to sell some players to help fund some transfer purchases. Well, it appears as though he might be able to sell some players relatively soon.
According to L’Equipe, the reigning Ligue 1 champions need to sell a minimum of €60-million before the transfer window ends. Thus, far, they’ve only brought in small portions of cash. Nonetheless, PSG could receive a significant fee as the French media outlet reports that Atlético Madrid has inquired about Idrissa Gueye, who also draws interest from Premier League clubs.
With the capital club not interested in selling Leandro Paredes and looking to add another midfielder, Gueye might see the writing on the wall when it comes to the reduced playing time he could see if he chooses to remain in Paris.
