It is all official now as Paris Saint-Germain legend Thiago Silva has left the club following eight memorable seasons with the team. On its official Twitter account, PSG posted a video reminiscing on some of the Brazilian’s best plays and moments with Les Parisiens. The post read “Thank you Captain. You have left a lasting mark on the history of the Red and Blue Club. Forever in our hearts.”

From his memorable away goal against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League to his lengthy amount of key defensive plays, Silva leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered by PSG fans for years to come. The Brazilian defender is now off to the Premier League to play for Chelsea.
