The UEFA Champions League final between FC Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain will consist of two players to have worn the FC Barcelona colors. Neymar Jr. and his countrymen, Philippe Coutinho, will share the pitch on Sunday.
After Bayern defeated Olympique Lyonnais 3-0, Coutinho spoke with Esporte Interativo to discuss the matchup with Neymar and PSG. The Brazilian media outlet asked the 28-year-old if there are any conversations between the two while in Lisbon during this Champions League competition.
“We didn’t say anything, even because I had today’s game. I believe he is focused there as I am here, and each one wants to give the best to his team,” Coutinho said. “PSG have a very prepared team. The team has very fast points, Neymar need not speak, the defense is solid. It will be a great final.”
