Oliver Khan spent 14 seasons as the goalkeeper of FC Bayern Munich. The 51-year-old spoke with beIN Sports to discuss the match between Paris Saint-Germain and the Bavarian club.
Khan touched on how FC Barcelona and Olympique Lyonnais were unable to take advantage of any mistakes that Bayern Munich committed. Meanwhile, Les Parisiens have the talent to make the German club pay for any defensive errors due to the speed that Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé possess.
“I didn’t see any defensive mistakes against Barcelona. But it is fair to say that if we lose the ball in this sector against PSG, things will go very quickly with Mbappé and Neymar,” Khan said.
“But the players know it, Hansi Flick is going to prepare them for this now. It will be a completely different game than against Lyon. Because the individual quality is enormous in the Parisian team, and if they have a chance, it can be scored right away. But if you are a player, you know this before the game, and you tell yourself that you shouldn’t make mistakes in this game.”
