After Paris Saint-Germain defeated RB Leipzig in their UEFA Champions League semi-final matchup, Kylian Mbappé took to the microphone where Canal Supporters replayed his words.
The 21-year-old discussed the relationship that he has with Neymar Jr. as the two are the faces of Les Parisiens. Furthermore, on the pitch, the two have developed chemistry since arriving in 2017. It’s evident that both know where the other is suppose to be, so they have no problem playing with each other.
Nonetheless, despite their onfield relationship, the two understand that it takes a team to win the Champions League, which is why they’ve become more team-orientated individuals.
“We share the same delusions. We appreciate each other. The current is passed immediately. We have mutual respect, we have fun, and we have a lot of fun. And I think we have improved in our relationship with others. We’re much less focused on both of us,” Mbappé said. “We have been able to create a context where we care about others a lot more. Because we understood that it is with others that we will succeed in winning and that we will not do it together.”
