Heading into their UEFA Champions League quarterfinals matchup versus Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta BC will be without their forward Josip Iličić. In their 2-0 loss to Inter Milan, La Dea was hit with another significant injury when starting goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini left the match.
After the match, Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini spoke about his squad’s performance against Inter and how it provided a reality check for them ahead of their matchup against PSG in ten days.
Finally, Gasperini gave his initial reaction to Gollini’s injury, where he hopes it’s only a bruise to his left knee.
