In Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-0 victory over RB Leipzig, the capital club was without Idrissa Gueye due to an injury, so as a result, manager Thomas Tuchel inserted Leandro Paredes.
With no Marco Verratti and now Gueye, Les Parisiens were counting on an excellent performance from the 26-year-old. In their postgame coverage, RMC Sport broke down the influence the Argentina international had in the match.
Paredes played 83 minutes, where he had 89 touches with 73 accurate passes with a 93.6-percent success rate. The PSG midfielder had one key pass, three for six on the long ball passes, and two for four with his ground duels.
It will be interesting to see if Tuchel continues with Paredes in the midfield in the UEFA Champions League final, or will he go with a different look.
