Paris Saint-Germain is inching closer and closer to clinching a spot in the UEFA Champions League final. With the team already up 2-0 in the second half over RB Leipzig in the Champions League semifinals, left-back Juan Bernat scored a dagger to add to the lead.
Following a solo run into the final third, Bernat received a return pass in the penalty box but took on a poor touch and lost possession. The Spaniard essentially missed out on a possible shot attempt, but the left-back did redeem himself seconds later. After Angel Di Maria won back possession out on the flanks, the Argentine sent in an aerial ball into the box. With Bernat already deep inside the penalty box, the defender was able to head in a close-range shot attempt for the score.
