Atalanta BC was the feel-good story of the UEFA Champions League. Plenty of pundits and supporters were behind them as they took on Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
For nearly 90 minutes, the Italian club had the capital club on the ropes; then, in a matter of minutes, PSG scored two goals that would see them go through to the semi-finals of the tournament.
In their postgame media interviews, it seemed as though the Atalanta squad were heartbroken. However, after the loss, one player is displaying his sense of humor after battling with Neymar Jr. for 90 minutes.
Marten de Roon took to Twitter, where he showed a self-mocking video of himself losing a duel to the 28-year-old, which was then followed up by a de Roon clip dispossessing the ball from the Brazil international, which he titled Neymar & De Roon. A Love Story.
