Paris Saint-Germain is interested in Olympique Lyonnais right-back Leo Dubois, but talks between the two sides on a possible contract deal have currently reached a standstill, according to Le Parisien.
The report mentions that PSG had already made contact with Dubois to discuss a potential transfer deal. But in recent days, there has not been much progress made between the two sides in reaching a contract agreement. The Le Parisien report does not allude as to whether PSG has gone the extra mile to also reach out to Lyon to begin transfer negotiations for the right-back.
Le Parisien reported last week that PSG was showing relative interest in Dubois. It is unclear whether the club will now aggressively push to acquire Dubois before the current summer transfer window closes.
PSG is in desperate need of a right-back considering that it only has Thilo Kehrer and Colin Dagba as its lone options for the position. Kehrer showed promise over the recent UEFA Champions League knockout stage, but it is becoming clear that the board is seeking to acquire a more experienced right-back. Dubois has made a total of 166 appearances for Ligue 1 sides Nantes and Lyon.
