Report: PSG Transfer Target Is Willing to Cut His Wages in Half to Depart From Chelsea

With the transfer window remaining open, Paris Saint-Germain would like to improve their midfield by adding someone that can bring height to that position. One name linked to Les Parisiens is Chelsea FC’s Tiemoué Bakayoko, who spent the last season on loan with AS Monaco.

The English club would like to move on from Bakayoko as they’re heading in a different direction under manager Frank Lampard. Chelsea is more than willing to sell the 25-year-old. According to the Daily Mail, Bakayoko is ready to cut his wages by 50-percent for a preferred move to a club like AC Milan.

However, Chelsea won’t budge from its demand of £19 million (€21 million), which could be expensive for Milan. Meanwhile, Bakayoko has also said that he wouldn’t mind returning home to Paris and play for PSG.

PSG would have Bakayoko has a backup plan for a much bigger name, but it’s a good sign to see that the player would lower his wages. As a result, it’s bargain deal if the capital chooses to pursue the midfielder.
