Paris Saint-Germain is still monitoring the situation between Tottenham and midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to a report from Le10Sport.
Tottenham has been receiving interest from several clubs on a possible transfer deal involving Ndombele. The Premier League side is reportedly in negotiations with Inter Milan and is set to be close to an agreement. However, talks have not gone any further than that in recent days.
Per the Le10Sport report, Tottenham is adamant on not selling for less than €70 million, which would be difficult for any interested club to meet considering the current uncertain financial situation within Europe’s top five leagues.
At the moment, PSG is closely watching the Ndombele transfer saga. The board has not submitted a formal offer just yet. Still, manager Thomas Tuchel is set to be interested in managing the French talent and would push for the board to accelerate talks to acquire the talent.
Ndombele made 29 appearances for Tottenham this past season. He dealt with fitness issues over the campaign, which hindered his ability to consistently complete games. Ndombele also did not play in multiple games due to injuries, such as a thigh injury early in the season.
Ndombele signed with Tottenham for a club-record €60 million last year.
