Report: PSG Offers Contract Extension Deal to Prospect Loic Mbe Soh

Paris Saint-Germain has offered a contract extension deal to current prospect Loic Mbe Soh, according to a report from L’Equipe.

Mbe Soh is set to become a free agent next year, but PSG does not want to let him go as a free transfer. The report mentions that Mbe Soh has not yet decided on his future, whether he wishes to stay with PSG or depart for another club. For the moment, PSG will simply wait for his decision and move forward from there.

The prospect was reported to be a player who could possibly leave the club this summer. According to a recent report from L’Equipe (via Le10Sport), PSG has considered selling him due to the lack of progress in contract talks. The report also mentioned that La Liga and English Championship clubs would be interested in signing Mbe Soh if he were to become available.

Mbe Soh has been a regular for PSG’s U19 side. He did also feature for the first-team in its recent four friendly fixtures. He scored against Waasland-Beveren and earned a start against Sochaux.

If he stays with the club, the defender will return to feature in PSG U19 fixtures. Just as he did this past season, he could also earn playing time for the first-team over the upcoming campaign.
