Report: Premier League Club Is Looking To Offer Thiago Silva a Contract

After Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-0 win over RB Leipzig, Thiago Silva spoke with the media, and one of the questions that the 35-year-old had to answer was over his future.

Barring any unforeseen extension of his contract, the UEFA Champions League final will be Silva’s last match with Les Parisiens. After Sunday, the Brazil international will have to focus on his future, and there’s one club that is reportedly offering him a contract for his services.

The Telegraph is reporting that Chelsea FC is looking to improve its defense. Last season, The Blues were in the top ten in goal conceded with 54. As a result, the English club has reportedly shown interest.

When it comes to contract and money, Silva is looking for a two-year deal and perhaps is willing to lower his monthly wages to play in the Premier League. The central defender has gone on to say that he wants to participate in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, so playing with Chelsea for two years will prepare him for this tournament.

Silva has stated he still has plenty of football left in the tank, and his next challenge could be in South West London.
