Report: Marcin Bulka Turns Down the Interest From Two Polish Clubs

Marcin Bulka sits third in the goalkeeper depth chart for Paris Saint-Germain, and for the 2020-21 season, the 20-year-old is looking for more playing time.

However, Bulka’s search for playing doesn’t include returning to Poland. According to Meczykitwo Polish clubs, Legia Warsaw and Wisła Kraków, inquired about Bulka. With clubs like Real Betis and Genoa CFC showing interest, it seems as though he prefers to play in Europe’s top five leagues.

Bulka’s agent, Stefano Castagana, confirmed the interest of Genoa but added that his client and camp would weigh their options and are in no rush to make a decision. Furthermore, Castagana said they would wait until the UEFA Champions League is over to make a decision.

Marcin arouses interest in the market. Genoa? It is possible, but not the only direction. The transfer window is long,” Castagana said. “We are taking our time. We will find the right solution for Marcin after the Champions League is over.”

PSG have Bulka under contract for one more season, so the club might want to work on an extension and then proceed to loan him out. Keylor Navas is 33-years-old and will see a decline in form in the coming years, and it would be wise for PSG to know if they have something in Bulka for a potential replacement down the road.
