With Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal matchup against Atalanta BC days away, all eyes are on the statuses of Kylian Mbappé and Marco Verratti.
There is some good news as RMC Sport is reporting that both players are apart of the 28 man squad who will be flying to Portugal on Saturday. The 27-year-old midfielder will have an evaluation in 48 hours to see whether his calf injury can allow him to play on Wednesday.
🔴🔵 Encore blessés, Kylian Mbappé et Marco Verratti seront du voyage parisien à Faro, sous réserve du test Covid.
Joueurs et staffs ont été testés aujourd’hui.

Even if the injury keeps him from starting, perhaps Verratti can remain an option off the bench.
Meanwhile, for Mbappé, Thomas Tuchel already ruled out the 21-year-old to start the match against the Italian club; however, he didn’t say that he will miss the game entirely. The France international could see some time in the second half off the bench, potentially if PSG needs a jolt into their offense.
Finally, the report also adds that the club will undergo one last coronavirus test before departing for Lisbon.
