Report: Former PSG Midfielder Set to Join MLS Club

Since the beginning of the year, former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham was looking to lure Edinson Cavani to Inter Miami of Major League Soccer. However, as reports indicated back in January, they couldn’t afford El Matador’s wage demands.

According to Taylor Twellman of ESPN tweeted out that PSG’s all-time leading goal scorer wanted an annual salary of $12 million, which was a bit too rich it seems for Inter Miami.

Despite striking out on Cavani, the MLS club has reportedly landed another former PSG player and former teammate of Beckham’s in Blaise Matuidi. Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sports tweeted out that Juventus FC and Inter Miami agreed to a deal as the France international will exchange Europe for South Beach.

Suppose you’re a supporter of the capital club and live near an MLS team. In that case, once fans are allowed into stadiums, it’s good to head out and catch a former Parisien in action before Matuidi calls it a career.

  1. An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this
subject, it might not be a taboo matter but typically people do not speak about such topics.
To the next! All the best!!
