After Olympique Lyonnais eliminated Juventus FC, president Andrea Agnelli took to the microphone to clarify that Cristiano Ronaldo would remain in Turin.
Despite the strong words from the club president, Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, might have other plans for the 35-year-old’s future. After being eliminated in the quarterfinals and now round 16, Ronaldo could be second-guessing his Juve tenure.
According to Foot Mercato, Mendes will be organizing meetings with other clubs. One of them will be with Paris Saint-Germain.
Mendes already has a good relationship with PSG sporting director Leonardo considering the two worked together recently on the transfer for Keylor Navas. Furthermore, with both men in Lisbon, the French media outlet is reporting that there will be discussions between them.
When it comes to lifestyle, and on the pitch, the capital club is an attractive destination for the Portugal international. Perhaps Ronaldo will want to see how far Les Parisiens go before he and his agent engage in serious talks with PSG.
