Soft. That’s what I would call this play from Kingsley Coman.
You be the judge…
Was that a penalty for Bayern right before half? pic.twitter.com/2OM2Yg43Yw

Right before halftime of the UEFA Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and FC Bayern Munich, the former PSG player went down in the box and claimed he was brought down by right-back Thilo Kehrer.
Should Bayern have had a penalty? 🤔#UCLfinal | #UCL | #PSGFCB

Did Kehrer have his hands on the attacker? Sure, did he bring him down? No, and that’s why the ref made the right decision. This was also in stoppage time before halftime in a 0-0 game between two evenly matched teams. I applaud the ref for keeping it that way and allowing the players to decide the outcome in the second half.
In other words, get that weak sauce out of here.
For PSG, they need to start finishing their chances in front of goal. They had several chances but their attempts were either blocked or off target. If PSG are to win their first-ever Champions League title, they need their superstars, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr. to step up.
